About us

Sea Source is a co-operative owned by the fishermen in Northern Ireland who have been catching, landing and selling their world class seafood in Kilkeel since 1853. When you buy Sea Source you are buying direct - supporting the fishermen from Northern Ireland, their families, our community, our way of life, our heritage and our future. Our methods are sustainable, our produce is wild caught, our philosophy is ethical.

Our origins date back to 1853 when Kilkeel Harbour was opened enabling our fishermen to land their catch. For over 150 years generations of families have been fishing our waters. We are passing on our knowledge to our own children and building a foundation for the next 150 years.
